Self Defense Training with NVTWS

Hello all,

Thank you for your interest in the self-defense training offered by the Nevada Chapter of The Wildlife Society. We are excited to announce that we are offering this course in Reno, NV during this spring (April or May). We are currently scheduling the course with our instructor, and we are seeking input on your availability.

Course Description: This one-day course (~6-8 hours) is instructed by law enforcement officer, Chief Warden Kristy Knight (NDOW). This program begins with basic awareness and progresses all the way through techniques to defend oneself. Instruction includes proper stance, how to talk to people, proper techniques to implement various blocks/strikes, techniques to escape from certain holds, and ground defense.
